Over $235 million recovered since June, 2007:

  • $12.3 million recovered on $10 million verdict. In 2011, Mr. Jensen tried a case against Johnson & Johnson and McNeil in PA and obtained a $10 million verdict. Mr. Jensen's 18 year old female client suffered from Stevens Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis and is blind in one eye as a result of her ingestion of Motrin. This is the first Motrin SJS/TEN Plaintiffs' verdict anywhere. Mr. Jensen and his client prevailed on appeal. Mr. Jensen and his client have recovered more than 120% of the verdict as the payoff included post-judgment interest. The amount recovered was $12,367,123.29, a client recovery of $4,648,141.87, after fees of $5,565,205.44 and expenses from a nine week trial and years of representation of $2,148,775.89.
  • $21.06 million verdict, the largest jury verdict in NH history. In 2010, Mr. Jensen tried a case against a drug manufacturer in NH Federal Court and obtained a verdict of $21.06 million. Mr. Jensen 's client suffered a life-threatening adverse reaction to a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). This is the first NSAID SJS/TEN Plaintiffs' verdict anywhere. That verdict was affirmed by the First Circuit Court of Appeals and overturned by the U.S.S.Ct. on a legal theory; preemption. As a result of the verdict the client obtained a $250,000.00 non-recourse loan, which she is not required to pay back, and as a result of the U.S.S.Ct.'s 5 to 4 ruling she received no money from the drug company. Hence, this case does not make up a portion of Mr. Jensen 's over $235 million in recoveries.
